Terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms and conditions govern the online sale of digital products by SOLFERINO DEVELOPPEMENT (SARL (French limited liability company) with a share capital of €100, RCS Le Mans 108 404 815, registered office: Château de Marigné, 2063 route de Verron, 72200 Bazouges Cré sur Loir, France, email: contact@solferino-developpement.fr), the “Seller”, to any person, the “Customer”. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms.
2. Products
The Seller sells only digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium: e-books, guides, PDF documents and online courses (e-learning). The main features of each product (content, format, access period where relevant) are shown on its sales page. Using the products requires an internet-connected device and suitable software (PDF/EPUB reader, web browser).
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, including VAT. The applicable price is the one displayed when the order is placed. The Seller may change prices at any time; orders already confirmed are not affected.
4. Orders
The Customer orders from the product’s sales page and confirms payment. A confirmation email summarising the order is then sent.
5. Payment
Payment is due immediately when ordering. It is made by card (or any other method offered) through the secure payment provider Stripe. The Seller never has access to the Customer’s card details. An invoice is available on request.
6. Delivery and access
Products are delivered immediately after payment is confirmed, by email (download link) or by creating access to the online course area. If the Customer has not received the product within 24 hours, they should check their spam folder and then contact customer service, who will provide access.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content not supplied on a physical medium once performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal. When ordering, the Customer expressly requests immediate access to the content and acknowledges that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
8. Refunds
The Customer receives a full refund in the following cases:
- the product was not received and access cannot be provided;
- the file or access is defective and the Seller cannot fix it within a reasonable time;
- the payment was charged twice or in error.
Requests must be sent to contact@solferino-developpement.fr within 30 days of purchase, quoting the order reference. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of the request being accepted.
9. Online courses
Course access is personal and non-transferable. The access period is stated on the sales page; if none is stated, access is granted for at least 12 months. Sharing login details is prohibited and may lead to access being suspended without refund.
10. Intellectual property and licence
Products remain the Seller’s intellectual property. Purchase grants the Customer a personal, non-exclusive licence of use. Any reproduction, distribution, resale or sharing with third parties, free or paid, is prohibited.
11. Legal guarantees
Consumer customers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (Articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
12. Customer service and complaints
For any question or complaint: contact@solferino-developpement.fr – 07 74 61 38 51. We reply within 2 business days.
13. Mediation
If a dispute is not resolved after a written complaint to our customer service, consumer customers may refer it free of charge to the following consumer mediator: Médiation Professionnelle (SMP) – Alteritae, 5 rue Salvaing, 12000 Rodez – www.mediateur-consommation-smp.fr.
14. Personal data
See our privacy policy.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply.
